Sassi Sam's Handbag Hangers = Heaven!!

Girlies and Guys,

This post is for both of you, okay?? Understand?

You'll thank me in about 3 minutes time - trust me.

I was oh-so very lucky to recently review Sassi Sam's Handbag Hangers and I'll tell you what - my handbags have never looked better or returned to their former glory in such a short amount of time.

In a nutshell, Sassi Sam's invention is pure genius. Each hanger has seven hanging loops with silver snaps and grommet for easy mounting in a closet or on a door. Each loop can hold 2-4 items. (Ladies are counting the number of handbags that is???)

The hangers provide a stylish and functional solution to handbag storage and what's even better is that they won't break the bank!!!

So guys, the next time your girlfriend, fiance, wife, mother, sister, aunt - any special woman in your life needs a gift or you're struggling with a space issue look no further than Sassi Sam's Handbag Hangers.

Girls, I know I don't have to sell this one to you; but it really is perfect for the mother-to-be, the girl who's landed her bachelorette pad or your best friend - for just being her.

You can find Sassi Sam's Handbag Hangers online at www.Sassisam.com

PINK is sweet and ballsy!

So tonight I'm off with my friend Von to see P!NK in her 2nd last Sydney concert. I can't believe P!NK will be leaving Australia so soon, she's broken heaps of records with the number of concerts she's performed while she's been in our country - I certainly hope she's had a great time here.

Anyway, back to the concert, I'm very excited to be going, should be a great night.

When thinking about today's Web Find Friday it didn't take me long to think of what I wanted to post.

So in honor of the divine Ms. P!NK, here's something that I think reflects her true personality...A little ballsy, sweet and something everyone loves! Click here for today's Web Find Friday

On a more personal note I have some big news which I'll share with you next week. Make sure you stay tuned to the page... you'll want to be the first to know about this!

Web Find Friday

My recent trip to Melbourne re-ignited my passion for all things quirky, individual - basically all things Melbourne!

On this trip I had the pleasure of "discovering" a really little hidden gem in Northcote, Joes Shoe Store.
Now far be it for me to call a spade a spade. Joe's (as the locals call it) is not a shoe store. It is a fabulous bar. A bar serving alcoholic drinks and I totally fell in love. It used to be a shoe store in it's former life but now it's a bar and a bloody brilliant one at that and it's places like this, that Sydney really needs. Serving a great selection of imported beers - which I had maybe one or two too many of the bar has a certain broodiness about it, something cool in a James Dean way.

But don't take my word for it. Read the review in The Age.

While we're on all things liquid, why should humans have all the fun? This week's other web-find has gone to the dogs...

Have a great weekend and I'll see you on the flip side!

Web Find Friday

Welcome to another installment of web-find-Friday...

This week I'm going to jump right into my finds and abandon the usual ramble that accompanies these finds!

I came across the trailer for the Alice Seabold novel The Lovely Bones by accident. Peter Jackson directed the film and I'm really looking forward to seeing this one.

This next find made me squeal with delight! These necklaces are too cute for words and the fact that you can personalise them really does make them one-off pieces. (And they're a little reminiscent of the necklace / bracelet on the cover of the lovely bones!)

Finally; I bought one of Laura Trevey's paintings for my Mum for mothers day earlier this year. She just loved it - check them out and tell Laura I sent you!

'Till next time.

Review: Neutrogena Ultra Sheer Dry-Touch SunScreen Lotion

I've been asked to review Neutrogena's Ultra Sheer Dry-Touch SunScreen Lotion so in this special entry I've given my pros and cons for this product.

The first thing that appealed to me was the packaging, it's simplistic, doesn't SCREAM "sunscreen lotion" and therefore makes it somewhat sophisticated. It's definitely not your run-of-the-mill sunscreen. I noticed that the product appears to have been endorsed by the Skin & Cancer Foundation of Australia which makes me think this product could be more than just "another sunscreen".

Flipping the bottle over I read that the product "provides balanced broad-spectrum UVA/UVB protection against skin aging UVA and burning UVB rays and combines it with Dry Touch technology for a lightweight, non-shiny finish."

Because let's face it, there's nothing worse than going to Ivy or Bondi Beach looking whiter after you've applied your sunscreen.

I read on to see that the product is "4 hours water resistant, Non comedogenic - won't clog pores and is oil free, PABA free"

The product is improving by the second and I haven't even opened the tube yet!

Opening the bottle I'm surprised that Neutrogena hasn't decided to go for a flip top lid option - the lid screws off and in some personal instances I know that lids that completely remove can sometimes be less attractive, simply due to the fact that they can become easily misplaced or buried in the sand.

After removing said lid, I sniff the sunscreen and notice it's not the overpowering sunscreen scent and I'm so pleased. The scent is pleasant and mild - reminding me of mild moisturiser scent.

I squeeze some out and notice the smallest amount goes a very long way it's a very deep white colour and is cool upon application.

Rubbing in the sunscreen I notice it's not greasy, easy to apply and really isn't shiny upon rubbing in. My skin feels smooth and mositurised after application and between the two comparable spots the skin where I haven't applied it's apparent there isn't cream but this isn't a bad thing in my mind.

All in all Neutrogena's Ultra Sheer Dry-Touch SunScreen Lotion receives a 7/10 from me. I'm all for a product that will look after my skin in more ways that one and this product certainly does that.
